Alice Saddy Association Bursary

  • Available for students currently enrolled in the second year of the Developmental Services Worker program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in Developmental Services upon graduation  
  • Student must demonstrate financial need  
  • Student must be registered in a full time program  
  • Student must meet Ontario Residency criteria  
  • Student must meet Canadian Citizenship criteria  

Betty Knepflar Memorial Bursary

  • Available to full-time students currently enrolled in a graduate certificate program, or level 2 and beyond of any post-secondary program at Fanshawe College with a minimum 3.2 GPA  
  • Student must demonstrate financial need  
  • Student must be registered in a full time program  
  • Preference will be given to City of Stratford or County of Perth secondary school graduate  
  • Student must meet Ontario Residency criteria  
  • Student must meet Canadian Citizenship criteria  

Rotary Club of London West Bursary

  • Available for students currently enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program with a minimum 2.5 GPA or the Child and Youth Care/Worker, or Early Childhood Education program with a minimum 2.0 GPA who have demonstrated volunteerism and community service within the past year  
  • Student must demonstrate financial need  
  • Student must be registered in a full time program  
  • Student must be a secondary school graduate with a minimum 70% average in his or her final year and have started their post secondary education at Fanshawe College in the September immediately following their secondary school graduation. Preference will be given to Saunders Secondary School or Westminster Secondary School graduates  
  • Rotary Club of London West bursary recipients will have their full bursary value applied to their tuition account  
  • Student must meet Canadian residency requirements.

Metis Nation of Ontario Bursary

  • Available to students registered in a full-time program (part-time students are eligible to apply, but preference will be given to full-time students). Students, beyond semester 1, must have achieved a minimum 2.0 GPA  
  • Student must demonstrate financial need  
  • All applicants must self-identify as Métis, have at least one grandparent who is or was an Aboriginal person, and must not be registered as an Indian under the Indian Act or as an Inuk or an Inuit Registry  
  • Students must complete and return a Métis Nation of Ontario Training Initiatives Metis Verification Form as well as submit a photocopy of their Metis Nation of Ontario membership card (if one has been issued) AND provide an essay describing why you are interested in your area of study and how your studies will contribute to your future employment/employability. (Essay to be no more than 2 pages in length)  
  • Student must meet Ontario Residency criteria  
  • Student must meet Canadian Citizenship criteria  
  • Applications are made available, upon request to eligible students by contacting the Institute of Indigenous Learning, room A1047
