Available to First Generation students currently enrolled in any semester of their first post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate program. First Generation students are those whose parent(s) did not attend/complete a post-secondary program

Student must demonstrate financial need

Student must be registered in a full time program

Student must meet Canadian Citizenship criteria

Student must meet Ontario residency requirements.

You are not eligible if: Student(s) enrolled in second-entry (a second program), graduate and professional programs, as well as students receiving assistance through the Second Career program

Students must submit a signed Notice of Collection of Personal Information statement in addition to their online application. Please note the Notice of Collection of Personal Information is available to download on the first page before applying to the bursary

Available for students who have served as a Cadet in the Canadian Cadet Program and are no longer a Cadet with any Cadet unit

Student must demonstrate financial need

Available for full time students enrolling in a two or three year program

Student must have successfully completed the third year of the Canadian Cadet Program

Student must meet Canadian residency requirements.


Applications will be made available, upon request, to eligible students who have provided their cadet history by contacting the Student Awards Office

Available for students currently enrolled in a full-time post secondary program.

Students must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.0 in their previous semester

Student must meet Ontario Residency criteria

Student must meet Canadian Citizenship criteria

Students who meet all eligibility criteria will be awarded either: the Falcon Student Bursary, the London 2004 Ontario Winter/Summer Games Legacy Bursary, or the London Community Amateur Bursary

Bursary approvals will be sent early in the next semester

Applicants for the Schulich Builders Scholarships program must meet the following criteria.

  • Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must demonstrate financial need.
  • Upload one letter of reference to this application that confirms a strong work ethic and character, as evidenced by one reference letter from someone directly connected to the student (preferably, a high school staff member, employer, co-worker or community service organization).
  • Enrollment in one of the programs listed on the Schulich Builders Scholarships page add link.
  • Be willing to act as an ambassador and promote the skilled trades and the Schulich Builders Scholarships in high schools and the wider community.
